Since the day he was born, I have been documenting my son’s life with my camera.

There’s a saying in the photo industry that says “The best camera is the one you have with you” and this is the approach I take when photographing my family. Before my son was born I invested in a small, simple, compact camera that would be fairly easy to bring with us to most places. It doesn’t have interchangeable lenses and it isn’t the fastest camera out there to shoot with. But the fact that it’s small and easy to throw in a bag makes it so much easier to capture great images.
